Barrett's Privateers

The Wellermen return with a bold, modern take on folk classic “Barrett’s Privateers”, the first single from their upcoming EP “1778”, arriving 20 March 2026. A lyrical brutal reminder of the gap between expectations and reality with the juxtaposition of the heavy lyrics and entertaining melody, this holds a special place in The Wellermen’s heart. With rising momentum and consistent month on month DSP, SMP and CRM growth with a US tour in March 2026 - the band is primed to take folk mainstream.
